MOCA published a petite publication called Mixed Drinks with Dean Baldwin Lew. Over 50 artists submitted a drink recipe for the publication, ranging from international artists such as Thomas Demand to local artists like Diane Borasto. Mixed Drinks was developed in response to untitled 2013 (thomas demand’s here) by Rirkrit Tiravanija, an active karaoke bar that is a part of MOCA's current exhibition, Thomas Demand’s HOUSE OF CARD. Dean’s playful intervention adds a roster of “favourite/alternative” drinks proposed by a broad art community that Dean/MOCA/Rirkrit hold a relationship with.
